The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity, in spite of being technically on vacation. The break from the day job was much needed though, as all the last minute stuff for the launch of SECRETS of Green & Gold has been coming together.
First update – I did also actually go on vacation. I spent an amazing 10 days in Greenland and Iceland. If you’ve never had a chance to see them, I highly recommend it. If I never get back, I’ll have the memories of the glaciers and ice fjords to look back on, sadly probably after they’ve all but disappeared. The speed at which they’re vanishing is chilling (pardon the terrible pun). Iceland recently hosted a glacier funeral at the lake that is all that remains of one of its glaciers. Stunning waterfalls and black sand beaches were a welcome distraction from the reality, and I did appreciate every gorgeous vista from the winding roads, especially when the clouds lifted.
In happier news (not that awesome vacations aren’t happy), things are steaming ahead for the book release. I spent the last couple days checking the manuscript one last time. The final files were uploaded TODAY! Everything is set to go for the ebook, and you can grab a copy here: books2read.com/u/meB9LR
The paperback will be a teensy bit delayed, due to a rookie mistake on my part. But it should be out in the next week or two.
The full cover for it is gorgeous…if only I had it. Oops. Promise I’m fixing my missteps as quickly as I can.
For now, the ebook is set, and it should be in all the right categories for sale by the time it releases (that was yesterday’s fun activity).
So grab the prequel, Cara, if you haven’t already (it’s on the main page), and get yourself ready to follow the voices…
