Hunted by Wolves and Shadow
Series: The Cursed Globe
Trapped by the Mist. Tangled in a curse. Tempted by the enemy.
ABOUT THE STORY:
When a beast chases Emi to Grandma’s door, the handsome stranger who answers is definitely not her Grandma Ruby.
Wolf is a monster and a killer. But Emi is also more than she appears.
Trapped together by the Mist and the beasts outside the cottage door, Emi and Wolf strike an uneasy bargain as sparks ignite. Where there should be hate, they discover unexpected heat. But the truth that tears them apart may also be the key to breaking the curse.
To break the Mist’s hold, they’ll have to question everything they were told and risk the most guarded thing of all: their hearts.
Hunted by Wolves and Shadow is a moody enemies-to-lovers Red Riding Hood retelling with found family feels, a dangerous cursed forest, and a touch of steam.

Excerpt
I should have run anywhere but here when that beast first chased me. Now I was trapped with an even worse threat. One who had gotten under my skin, made me think he was like me in some way—both of us alone and just doing our best—when all that time, he knew exactly what he had done. He was a monster, and he knew it.
Anger flared hot and white inside me.
Unfortunately, the bright haze of it had faded enough for me to realize the danger I was in. Reality was a cold shock.
Wolf had killed Grandma Ruby. Would he kill me, too?
Of course he will, you’re nothing but a loose end, my mind taunted me in Jade’s voice. Leaving me alive wasn’t an option. The man had admitted to murder. He couldn’t let me live.
As the fight drained out of me, Wolf’s arms loosened their grip around my torso. He didn’t let me go, but neither did he move his hands to my throat or wrest the knife from my grip and plunge it into my heart. He would, though. Soon.
“Are you done?” he grumbled in my ear.
I couldn’t answer.
“A brilliant and captivating retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, infused with fresh twists … Holloway takes the classic fairy tale and reimagines it in a way that combines fantasy, romance, and dark intrigue. The result is a tale that is both familiar and thrillingly different.”
“I loved it! … enemies to lovers, tension, spice, oh and all the rude names Emi would call Wolf had me cackling … Wolf has his own struggles he has to work through and it was so heartwarming how they help each other. Seriously, their romance was so endearing! What a great book!“
“Oh my heart. I feel like I don’t have enough words to describe this book. I completely lost myself in it. What an incredible retelling, so beautifully written.”
